Practice Run !!

Okay so my little darling is getting me ready for sleepless nights when her sibling arrives. Ellie has been up the last two nights with earache so we have both been like zombies during the day!! It seems to be a little better today, which is typical as she is of to the Doctors this afternoon!

I did manage to get some scrapping done over the weekend. I finally started Emily Falconbridges 52 Card Challenge, only three weeks late!! The first card is based around something you are proud of, what else could I scrap other than my little darling !!

      

Hopefully I will be able to get the other three done this week, so I am back on track !!

I have to share this picture too. Ellie has inherited my love of beads, and pretty girly things. A trip to Claires Accessories on Thursday resulted in this, glammed up before bed !! I did not go totally mad they shop had a sale on 15 items for £5, I could not resist !!!   

Im a Bad Blogger

I am such a bad blogger, i thought i would be much better but just recently i do not seem to of had five minutes to do anything for myself!! Although this will all change this week as i have already arranged to meet up with two friends, the lovely Annie ( where i hope to have cuddles with the gorgoeus Addie !! ) and my new friend Katie, a fellow mum-to-be who i have spent the last couple of months to complaining to about every pregnancy symptom ( cant believe ahe still wants to meet up with me !! )

Although you cannot see very well I have stamped months of the year on each of the inner parts of the box and hope to create a little memory box for 2007! I love the Chatterbox papers i used which i bought from A Trip Down Memory Lane at Nickibees last crop.

Not much else happening, at last ante-natal appointment baby was breech so only have one more week for it to move before they book me in for a section. All ideas for getting bub to move ( within reason, no early labour please !! ) will be welcome. Answers on a postcard please...............

Give Me A Clue?

Had a great day today, not done anything much to write about, but Ellie has got a great new game.

So I was showing her how to do 'magic' pictures, with a white crayon, then colouring over with a felt tip. It was a bit difficult with her losing where she had done the white crayon drawing, but great fun, and she was getting so excite when the picture would start to emerge.

I was finding it a little tricky to guess some of her drawings, so i asked her to 'give me a clue'. The picture looked like a large flower petal, which it was not, so she asked if i wanted a clue!! The first clue was its something that stands still, so i guessed a tree ?!? This was not right and Ellie offered me another clue, this time its something which people open and shut, i guessed a door, which she informed me i was nearly right, it was actually a gate !!

It still makes me chuckle now, everyday she amazes me with the little things she comes out with. I will make a note of them, if anything just to make me smile during her teenage years!!!

Where Has My Baby Girl Gone??

So Ellie started nursery yesterday, she looks so grown up in her litle uniform, and was so proud to be carrying her (empty!) bookbag.

When i picked her up I asked her what she had been doing at schol 'playing' she replied and that was all I could get out of her, oh and that they had jam biscuits at snack time, which she was really impressed by. Little does she realise normally they have fruit, but Wednesday is cooking day when two children get to cook snacks for the other children!!

Tooth is much better today, and I have an apppointment next week, eek !

OOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!

I have toothache, so i have had a lousy day!! I have the telephone number to ring in the morning for an appointment but its driving me mad, especially as i cannot take any pain relief, except paracetamol.

On a happier note Ellie starts Nursery at the primary school tomorrow, she is so excited about going to ' big school' I have layed out her uniform, the skirt is tiny ( awww ! ) I will be sure to take lots of pictures in the morning. Hubby has taken half a day so he can be here in the morning and come to the school with us, which I thought was sweet of him !

What a Weekend !!!

We have had a crazy weekend, busy, busy , busy.

Computer was playing up so could not update yesterday.

Paul picked the older children up Friday night and Saturday we travelled to Essex to meet some friends we have not seen for ages!!!

Mark and Lorraine are a great pair, they have two adorable children too who Ellie loves to play with! We also got to catch up with Sara,Jon and Jared and their gorgeous new baby girl Zoe who was born on Christmas Eve. Zoe was the most chilled out baby i have ever met she did not cry once, despite being passed around for lots of cuddles !! I am still kicking myself i forgot my camera ARGH!!!!

Sunday was a lazy day for me, but all the children were busy, we had family over in the morning to catch up with, the weeks are going so quickly !

I had a bit of a moment on Sunday night. I drove the children home  as I do most Sundays whilst hubby goes to bed ( he starts work 9pm Sunday night ) I dropped them off without a problem, but driving home something didnt 'feel' right so i stopped at the nearest petrol station and yep i had a flat tyre ! Obviously there is no way I ws going to attempt to change it on my own ( being 7 months pregnant - i am usually capable !!) So i panicked thinking who do i phone? No point in ringing hubby as he was asleep and I had the car, so he would not be able to get out to me. My mum and stepdad would not be able to ( long story will go into it one day ) and my brother would hate to get dirty and probably not have a clue anyway !! So i rung my darling daddy ( my hero ) He did not even bat an eyelid and was with me in about 20 minutes, tyre changed and back on the road within another 20 minutes. What a man !! And today he brought me round a brand new tyre ( how expensive are tyres !! I never realised £50 !!!! - how much scrapbooking stash could i buy with that !!!)  So I learnt a lesson yesterday, no matter how old you are ( im 26 ) the number one man in your life will always be your Daddy ( as much as I love hubby !!! )

I also posted my journal off to Ann today, late but i got there in the end. I am really enjoying this Cj, based on a Baby theme, with 7 other mums-to-be ( Although Annie has recently given birth to the adorable Addison, the first of our little group ! )

Happy New Year

So its a bit late in the day, I apologize, but Happy New Year to everyone out there.

I had a night in this year, whilst hubby worked, but that suited me, i finally sorted out some of my stash, one of my many New Year resolutions!

Today we took the Christmas tree down, which left us a little sad its all over for another year, and DD really confused!! She think Farmer Christmas ( not a spelling error thats what she calls him !) is coming every week !
