Oh no the big 40 !!!

My darling hubby turned 40 this week, we celebrated quietly as he requested, by taking the children out for a meal, which was also Louis first outing. Im glad to report he behaved himself !! Louis was good too!!

We have had a great Easter weekend. Ellie and I went to Ickworth House yesterday to take part in the Easter Egg Hunt. We did it last year too so it is getting to be an Austin tradition!! It was good fun and nice to spend time with my little lady ( Louis stayed at home with Paul )she proudly carried her clipboard and posed for pictures !! Here are a few:

We spent the day in Felixstowe today, had great fun on the beach, it was scorching !!! Ellie loves the sea and spent ages building ( and demolishing ) sandcastles !!!

                                             

April Fools Day

So did you get caught out ???? I did not this year, but yet again am reminded by my brother of the year he tricked me with a yucky toilet trick. Clingfilm and the toilet, need i say anymore....( he was 11 at the time !!)

Thursday was Ellies school Easter Bonnet Parade, so Wednesday afternoon involved a mad rush to get the hat finished. I was worried the hat would look to much like i had made it ( obviously I did the tricky bits, but she did all the sticking honest !!)  but when we got to the school there were plenty of other hats which were much grander than hers !!

The children performed a little Easter song about a chick, which Ellie loves and has not stopped singing since!

Half term again, grrrr, just when she gets used to going everyday they have a holiday !! Not sure what we will be getting up to depends on the weather.
